Rihanna, the hip-hop artist, is thought to be apart of a secret society known as the Illuminati. There is much 'evidence' to support this claim in the form of videos similar to thoses seen in class about Beyonce. The Illuminati is thought to be some type of Devil worshiping club that give the members power and influence in the world. Now when Rihanna was first getting into the music business her songs such as 'Pon-de-replay' were feel-good, fun songs. Her innocence and talent was noticed by the Illuminati, in this case Jay-Z. Members are said to be initiated with some blood ritual where you swear yourself to Satan and he in turns grants your wildest dreams. You can see immediately the change in Rihannas music once she started working with Jay-Z, her songs become highly sexualized. I know most music is but hers seem to be alittle over the top, namely the song S&M. This type of behavior is similar to that of the classic witch. She has a relationship with the Devil, that may or may not be sexual, and performs rituals to please him. She also puts alot of Devil symbolism in her videos that is thought to recuit or brainwash people. So it seems the witches in modern day society use their powers to influence people. Instead of living on the outskirts of society they can be a big part of it. Does she have to fly around on a broom before people can see her for what is truely is?
Just to be clear, this is satirical right? If so, well written! If not, well, we don't need to get into that right now. I've never really understood the whole Illuminati in music thing. I remember seeing a documentary on the history channel about the old school badass Illuminati. That's the Illuminati that I like. I hope we end up discussing that kind of Illuminati in this class, not this stupid pop garbage that people think is the Illuminati.

evolution from the peasant witches in Europe to powerful
modern witches like Rihanna or as another blogger suggested Miley Cyrus. In your
post you mention they share a carnal lust with the Devil. Rhianna unlike her
counterpart also holds a lot of power and influence. Do you think the society
is going into a moral downward spiral since witches have mass popularity and
influence or do you think that the ideas presented during the times of the
European witches about lust were over exaggerated and that society was too harsh
on them?
I too show my concern about the satirical nature of this post. If it's satirical bravo! This very well written. I've always found conspiracies to be quite interesting. But what i find more interesting is the sub-communities of people who truly believe these conspiracies and have created them. I just find these individuals to be so interesting! They have come up with some absolutely great and complex theories. Each equipped with plenty of "Evidence" to prove their validity. I recall one summer night somehow finding myself just reading about the beatles conspiracy around Paul McCartney actually being deceased and replaced by an impersonator. Really creative stuff. And there's always that thought in the back of your mind of, "wow this is pretty convincing, I wonder if it's actually true". And then you begin to look into other conspiracies and soon, if you aren't careful, you start beginning the conspiracies as well. I agree with Andy, The Illuminati would be a great fun to look into! Or really any conspiracy theories out there. Real interesting stuf
