I think that the Adventures of Sinbad is one of the best
television series about all kinds of monsters that we can refer to in this
course. It is a very popular Canadian series about the stories of the
protagonist, Sinbad, who is the captain of the ship on the journeys with his
best friends. And then, in one of those journeys they encountered the werewolf
in the city called Basra. They managed to kill the werewolf in the second time
they confronted him but Doubar, Sinbad’s older brother, got bitten by the
werewolf. Therefore, he got cursed into a werewolf whenever he saw the full
moon. However, as Doubar is normally a true hero, he decided to flee into the
woods and kill himself instead of harming his friends when he knew he became a
werewolf. This led to the most touching part of the film as Sinbad tried to
lift his brother’s curse by reminding him about their memories.
The werewolf in this case remains the distinguishing
characteristics of the werewolves we study: being strong as a beast, losing
their minds, murdering people (even killed his father), eating flesh,
transforming in the full moon nights. It is the representation for the Satanic
illusion – a curse – that could be transferred from one to another. But the
brotherhood is what shines in the film that would help Doubar overcome the
curse of the werewolf. Since Doubar has a strong will, the braveness of Sinbad
to facing his brother in the beast form has encouraged the rise of the humanity
inside the werewolf, which helps him turn back into human. That being said, the
most monstrous things are not the beasts themselves but they are the moments
when we lose faith on each other.

Interesting story, I also noticed that you attached the link for the video. Regarding of the movie it's seams an original concepts between brother and the terrific story about the werewolf. Actually one of my examples was the movie "Werewolf; among us" and it's a good example of they explain to you all the literature data that you need to know to be able to understand the principle of this monster. Particularly, they’re are some details on the readings that I knew before I jumped into he readings; it got my attention how humans could turn into the beast and be more dangerous than a monster. Back in the days, I remember how my old papa told me: "Are you afraid of Monsters, and I reply with my head saying yes, I am afraid of those monsters. Then He paused for a second and looked into my eyes and told me "Don’t worry about monsters and all the fiction figures that you see on TV, you must worry about the people that are next to you." I personally incline that there are wolfs that are loyal, noble and well trained to be ready if there is any threatening creature around.

HA! I used to love this show back in the NAM (when I was still in Vietnam)! used to hurried back from school to watch this show. but lets get technical here. I think this show made the werewolf character scary just because it was an adventure show. when you watch something that is adventurous you expect it to be scary and mysterious. also, adventurous show always seem to teach us something new at the end of each show.
